This spectacular program is designed to introduce your child to the basic skills and proper techniques of fencing for the first time. In Games Around the World, students will explore how kids in different countries play some of the same games we enjoy in the United States—but with fun international twists. Each week, participants will learn and play a new version of a familiar game from another part of the world. From playground classics to team challenges, students will discover new rules, strategies, and traditions while staying active and having fun. Learn this fun game which is reported as the fastest-growing game in the country.  Pickleball combines the games of tennis and table tennis, on a badminton-sized court.  It is easy to learn and fun to play!  The three week clinic will teach you to play the game, with an emphasis on fun and hands-on play, rather than lecture.  Participants are expected to wear casual clothing suitable for outdoor exercise, and court shoes are recommended (flat-soled sneakers with good lateral support).  Equipment will be provided if you aren’t able to bring a paddle. Dave Brower is a certified instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association, and has competed in many tournaments, winning multiple Gold medals in both the MA and RI Senior Games.  Class sessions will be held at the outdoor pickleball courts located behind the skatepark at 70 Quaker Meetinghouse RdWHO: Ages 18+WHEN:  Tuesday OR Thursday 4PM ( June classes will start at 5PM)WHERE: Pickleball courts at 70 Quaker Meetinghouse Rd ( located in front of Center for Active Living)COST: $50(Resident) $60(Non Resident)

We also require all our Counselors and Junior Counselors be 1st Aid and CPR trained. If your child requires medication during the hours of the program you must fill out a Medical Administration Consent Form and drop it to the Health Supervisors cabin along with the originally labeled medication.     Inclement Weather Policy:The Super Fun Program will run as scheduled even during rain days.  Please pack a change of clothes for those days as they will splash in the puddles! Sandwich Summer Baseball Camp Join us for a fun and energetic Summer Baseball Camp for Grades K–6, focused on skill development, confidence, and a love for the game. This camp is led by Sandwich Middle High School head coach Brian Tomasini, with coaching experience in the Cape Cod Baseball League (Falmouth Commodores and Hyannis Harbor Hawks), and collegiate baseball at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Campers benefit from professional instruction in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.Grades K–2 (1.5 Hours) A fun introduction to baseball through games and activities that teach throwing, catching, hitting, and base running in an exciting and supportive environment.Grades 3–7 (2 Hours) A more structured, skill-based session focusing on hitting, fielding, throwing mechanics, base running, and situational play through drills, competitions, and daily games.Players of all experience levels are welcome. This camp is led by Sandwich Middle High School head coach Brian Tomasini, with coaching experience in the Cape Cod Baseball League (Falmouth Commodores and Hyannis Harbor Hawks), and collegiate baseball at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Campers benefit from professional instruction in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.Grades K–2 (1.5 Hours) A fun introduction to baseball through games and activities that teach throwing, catching, hitting, and base running in an exciting and supportive environment.Grades 3–7 (2 Hours) A more structured, skill-based session focusing on hitting, fielding, throwing mechanics, base running, and situational play through drills, competitions, and daily games.Players of all experience levels are welcome. Our Junior Counselors will act as assistants to the Counselors.  Staff is recruited with specific qualifications, experience, and talents relevant to our program.  All the staff must attend staff training on the Town of Sandwich Policies and Procedures, leadership, developmental stages, and best practices.  All staff are CPR and First Aid certified.  All staff and volunteers undergo an extensive CORI/SORI background check before being employed.  Health & Safety:The Super Fun Program does have a Health Supervisor onsite during regular program hours. We also require all our Counselors and Junior Counselors be 1st Aid and CPR trained. If your child requires medication during the hours of the program you must fill out a Medical Administration Consent Form and drop it to the Health Supervisors cabin along with the originally labeled medication.     Inclement Weather Policy:The Super Fun Program will run as scheduled even during rain days.  Please pack a change of clothes for those days as they will splash in the puddles! Due to staffing purposes, we do not offer a daily sign-up option and we ask that you please pre-register no later than the Friday before the week that is needed. Please know we take great pride in our amazing team! Our Counselors must be 18 years old and our Junior Counselor staff must be at least 16 years old. Our Junior Counselors will act as assistants to the Counselors.  Staff is recruited with specific qualifications, experience, and talents relevant to our program.  All the staff must attend staff training on the Town of Sandwich Policies and Procedures, leadership, developmental stages, and best practices.  All staff are CPR and First Aid certified.  All staff and volunteers undergo an extensive CORI/SORI background check before being employed.  Health & Safety:The Super Fun Program does have a Health Supervisor onsite during regular program hours. We also require all our Counselors and Junior Counselors be 1st Aid and CPR trained. If your child requires medication during the hours of the program you must fill out a Medical Administration Consent Form and drop it to the Health Supervisors cabin along with the originally labeled medication.     Inclement Weather Policy:The Super Fun Program will run as scheduled even during rain days.  Please pack a change of clothes for those days as they will splash in the puddles! Activities include games, arts and crafts projects and more.Clinics – the children will have the option to pick 2 clinics that they will participate in on those three days. These choices will change throughout the summer. Special Event/Camp Wide Activities- Camp wide special events will include events and programs that all the cabins participate in together. (Ex. Game Shows, Theme Event, Sporting Tournament) Each week will offer at least one special event in which all the children will either watch or participate in. (Ex. Magic show, K9 Demo, etc...) Aftercare The Super Fun Program will be offering Aftercare! We understand that many parents work and need additional hours of care, therefore aftercare will be provided from 3:00PM -5:00 PM for an additional fee of $65.00/per child per week. Due to staffing purposes, we do not offer a daily sign-up option and we ask that you please pre-register no later than the Friday before the week that is needed. Registration and payments may all be made on our website.  ** Registration for aftercare will open March 10th at 8:30AM**  Staff: It takes a special kind of person to be a Super Fun Super Hero! Please know we take great pride in our amazing team! Our Counselors must be 18 years old and our Junior Counselor staff must be at least 16 years old. Our Junior Counselors will act as assistants to the Counselors.  Staff is recruited with specific qualifications, experience, and talents relevant to our program.  All the staff must attend staff training on the Town of Sandwich Policies and Procedures, leadership, developmental stages, and best practices.  All staff are CPR and First Aid certified.  All staff and volunteers undergo an extensive CORI/SORI background check before being employed.  Health & Safety:The Super Fun Program does have a Health Supervisor onsite during regular program hours. We also require all our Counselors and Junior Counselors be 1st Aid and CPR trained. If your child requires medication during the hours of the program you must fill out a Medical Administration Consent Form and drop it to the Health Supervisors cabin along with the originally labeled medication.     Inclement Weather Policy:The Super Fun Program will run as scheduled even during rain days.  Please pack a change of clothes for those days as they will splash in the puddles! Sandwich Summer Baseball Camp Join us for a fun and energetic Summer Baseball Camp for Grades K–6, focused on skill development, confidence, and a love for the game. This camp is led by Sandwich Middle High School head coach Brian Tomasini, with coaching experience in the Cape Cod Baseball League (Falmouth Commodores and Hyannis Harbor Hawks), and collegiate baseball at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Campers benefit from professional instruction in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.Grades K–2 (1.5 Hours) A fun introduction to baseball through games and activities that teach throwing, catching, hitting, and base running in an exciting and supportive environment.Grades 3–7 (2 Hours) A more structured, skill-based session focusing on hitting, fielding, throwing mechanics, base running, and situational play through drills, competitions, and daily games.Players of all experience levels are welcome.
