WHAT: Tennis in the Parks - The tennis program where kids play while they learn! This exciting program is designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment where toddlers and preschoolers can explore, play, and burn off some energy. With a variety of age-appropriate equipment and activities, children will have the opportunity to develop their motor skills, socialize with peers, and simply have a blast. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity for fun and fitness with your little one!Please note: There will be a group warm-up and cool-down. Looking for a fun and active way to engage your little ones? Join Sandwich Recreation for our Parent and Me Open Gym! This exciting program is designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment where toddlers and preschoolers can explore, play, and burn off some energy. With a variety of age-appropriate equipment and activities, children will have the opportunity to develop their motor skills, socialize with peers, and simply have a blast. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity for fun and fitness with your little one!Please note: There will be a group warm-up and cool-down. Indoor Beginner Pickleball Lessons - December 2025
Learn this fun game which is reported as the fastest-growing game in the country. Pickleball combines the games of tennis and table tennis, on a badminton-sized court. It is easy to learn and fun to play! The three week clinic will teach you to play the game, with an emphasis on fun and hands-on play, rather than lecture. Participants are expected to wear casual clothing suitable for indoor exercise, and court shoes are recommended (flat-soled sneakers with good lateral support). Equipment will be provided if you aren’t able to bring a paddle. Dave Brower is a certified instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association, and has competed in many tournaments, winning multiple Gold medals in both the MA and RI Senior Games.
