With a variety of age-appropriate equipment and activities, children will have the opportunity to develop their motor skills, socialize with peers, and simply have a blast. 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM	Indoor Beginner Pickleball Lessons - Tuesday's January 2026 Learn this fun game which is reported as the fastest-growing game in the country.  Pickleball combines the games of tennis and table tennis, on a badminton-sized court.  It is easy to learn and fun to play!  The three week clinic will teach you to play the game, with an emphasis on fun and hands-on play, rather than lecture.  Participants are expected to wear casual clothing suitable for indoor exercise, and court shoes are recommended (flat-soled sneakers with good lateral support).  Equipment will be provided if you aren’t able to bring a paddle. Dave Brower is a certified instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association, and has competed in many tournaments, winning multiple Gold medals in both the MA and RI Senior Games.  Class sessions will be held at the new Center for Active Living Gym on Quaker Meetinghouse Rd located behind the skatepark and outdoor pickleball courts.WHO: Ages 18+WHEN: Tuesday's  or Thursday's 11AM - 12:00PM  WHERE: Center for Active Living GymCOST: $60

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM	Indoor Beginner Pickleball Lessons - Tuesday's January 2026 Learn this fun game which is reported as the fastest-growing game in the country.  Pickleball combines the games of tennis and table tennis, on a badminton-sized court.  It is easy to learn and fun to play!  The three week clinic will teach you to play the game, with an emphasis on fun and hands-on play, rather than lecture.  Participants are expected to wear casual clothing suitable for indoor exercise, and court shoes are recommended (flat-soled sneakers with good lateral support).  Equipment will be provided if you aren’t able to bring a paddle. Dave Brower is a certified instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association, and has competed in many tournaments, winning multiple Gold medals in both the MA and RI Senior Games.  Class sessions will be held at the new Center for Active Living Gym on Quaker Meetinghouse Rd located behind the skatepark and outdoor pickleball courts.WHO: Ages 18+WHEN: Tuesday's  or Thursday's 11AM - 12:00PM  WHERE: Center for Active Living GymCOST: $60
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM	Indoor Advanced Beginner Pickleball lessons - January 2026 This course is for players who have typically been playing for less than a year who want to improve their play.  It will focus on game play, with the instructor correcting issues as they come up.  There will be some drilling to develop skills, but most of the time will be devoted to playing games. The course is not intended for players who have reached the intermediate level.WHEN: Tuesday's 12PM - 1PM WHERE: Center for Active Living GymCOST: $60

3:30 PM - 4:45 PM	Futsal - Grades K - 2 Join us and Ac Independence for this indoor soccer opportunity.  Futsal is a great way to focus on skills and player development. Many of Brazil's top soccer players grew up playing Futsal which helped them develop incredible foot skills and quick decision-making.  The AC Independence Futsal Coaches will help your players learn and practice these specialized skills along with teaching them about improvisation, creativity, ball control, and small space passing. WHO: Grades K - 6.
