Indoor Beginner Pickleball Lessons - Feb/March 2025
Learn this fun game which is reported as the fastest-growing game in the country. Pickleball combines the games of tennis and table tennis, on a badminton-sized court. It is easy to learn and fun to play! The three week clinic will teach you to play the game, with an emphasis on fun and hands-on play, rather than lecture. Participants are expected to wear casual clothing suitable for indoor exercise, and court shoes are recommended (flat-soled sneakers with good lateral support). Equipment will be provided if you aren’t able to bring a paddle. Dave Brower is a certified instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association, and has competed in many tournaments, winning multiple Gold medals in both the MA and RI Senior Games.

The students will also be encouraged to create a Rube Goldberg machine together using simple machines and a scribble bot that colors in crazy patterns! We will also learn about wind power and design and test wind turbine blades and test them to see which ones generate the most energy using Vernier KidWind kits.
