Game Masters - March-April 2025 Students will team up to design a unique game for the class to play. They can either add their own twist to games they’ve played before or come up with an entirely new idea. With the help from instructors students will explain their game to the group and teach them how to play. It’s a fun way to get creative and work together! WHO: Grades K- 2nd

Advanced Pickleball lessons - Pickleball 201 Already a player but want to improve your game? Join us and Dave Brower for some advanced lessons!Pickleball 201> Intended for players who know the rules and basic strategies of the game, and want to progress beyond the 2.5 level (Advanced Beginner) toward "Intermediate Player (3.0)" status. The course will primarily consist of supervised game play, with comments and instruction as guided by errors as they occur. There will also be short drilling breaks to work on particular skills that participants can perform with drilling partners outside of class time.>> The goals of this course are to improve participant's knowledge and skills as they practice them during game play, and to learn drills which will help to enable them to improve.>> Pickleball 301> This course is for players who want to increase their player ranking to the 3.5 and 4.0 level. There will be more focus on game strategy and shot selection while playing competitive games. Beginner Pickleball lessons - Wednesday 4PM April Learn this fun game which is reported as the fastest-growing game in the country. Pickleball combines the games of tennis and table tennis, on a badminton-sized court. It is easy to learn and fun to play! The three week clinic will teach you to play the game, with an emphasis on fun and hands-on play, rather than lecture. Participants are expected to wear casual clothing suitable for indoor exercise, and court shoes are recommended (flat-soled sneakers with good lateral support). Equipment will be provided if you aren’t able to bring a paddle. Dave Brower is a certified instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association, and has competed in many tournaments, winning multiple Gold medals in both the MA and RI Senior Games.

Energy in Motion - March/April 2025 Energy in Motion!! Marble Runs, Wind Turbines & More! Does your child love to watch things move, create and design tracks and roller coasters? This fun-filled hands-on workshop will allow the students to create and keep their very own marble run using common household materials. The students will also be encouraged to create a Rube Goldberg machine together using simple machines and a scribble bot that colors in crazy patterns! We will also learn about wind power and design and test wind turbine blades and test them to see which ones generate the most energy using Vernier KidWind kits. Amp It Up! - March/April 2025 Amp It Up! Creative Electronics! Students will get to create using interactive circuit boards called Makey Makey, designed by the JoyLab at MIT! They can make their own video games with play-doh buttons and a website called Scratch! Students will also get to explore with PiperMake’s PICO breadboards and experiment with resistors, conductors and LED lights using a Minecraft interface!
